Dropped iPhone in Water? Here's What to Do IMMEDIATELY
Don't panic! Follow these critical steps to maximize your chances of saving your water-damaged iPhone.
Step 1: Act Fast (Within 30 Seconds)
- Remove from water immediately - The longer it stays submerged, the more water enters
- Power off your iPhone - Press and hold power button until it shuts down
- Do NOT turn it on - This can cause short circuits
- Remove any case/covers - Water can get trapped underneath
Step 2: Dry the Exterior
- Gently shake the iPhone to remove excess water
- Use a soft cloth to wipe away visible water
- Avoid using heat (hair dryers, ovens, etc.)
- Don't plug in any cables yet
Step 3: Use Our Water Eject Tool
This is the most important step! Our tool uses 165Hz sound waves to vibrate water out of your speakers.
🎵 How to Use the Tool:
- Go to waterejecttool.com
- Connect headphones or place phone near speakers
- Set volume to maximum
- Click "EJECT" and let it run for 2-5 minutes
- You'll see water being ejected!
Step 4: Wait and Monitor
- Leave the iPhone in a dry, warm place (not hot!)
- Place it in front of a fan on low setting
- Wait at least 24-48 hours before attempting to turn it on
- Silica gel packets can help absorb moisture
Step 5: Test Your iPhone
- Try powering on after 24 hours
- Test all functions: calls, speakers, camera, etc.
- If it works, great! If not, contact Apple or a professional
What NOT to Do
- ❌ Don't use rice - it can damage your iPhone
- ❌ Don't use heat sources
- ❌ Don't shake vigorously
- ❌ Don't try to open the iPhone yourself
- ❌ Don't charge it until completely dry
